Captain - Elizabeth Keeney (BC '19)

Elizabeth currently serves as Captain of the Columbia University Sailing Team, and previously served as Co-Captain and Alumni Chair. After learning to sail in Open Bics during summers as a child, Elizabeth began sailing competitively in High School, competing in the NW division of the Interscholastic Sailing Association. In addition to competing for CUST, she has worked as the Sailing School Director of the Vancouver Lake Sailing Club in Washington. She is studying English and Philosophy and is a Resident Advisor for Barnard, a yoga enthusiast, and honorary "Team Mom".

Co-Captain - Lily Loosbrock (BC '21)

Lily grew up sailing on Lake Minnetonka, Minnesota. After sailing optimists, she started racing 420s for Minnetonka High School. She sailed competitively on the team for six years as both a skipper and a crew. In addition, Lily has spent two summers working at Lake Minnetonka Sailing School as a Learn to Race 420 coach. When she's not sailing, Lily enjoys alpine skiing, playing the drums and guitar, and spending time with family and friends. As a first year, she has also been elected to serve on the Barnard Committee on Instruction.

Treasurer- David Treatman (CC '20)

David is thrilled to be serving as the CUST Treasurer. He grew up sailing on Barnegat Bay, NJ. Being a member of the sailing team has been the highlight of David's Columbia experience so far. When he is not out on the water, David can be found studying history, and producing theater in and around NYC. Oh, and yes... He can believe it's not butter.

Secretary - Isabel de la Torre (SEAS '18)

Isa started sailing at age 7 in Seattle before moving down to San Francisco. In SF she continued sailing, eventually moving into the racing scene. As a sophomore she joined her high school sailing team and was captain for the following two years. She still sails and races out of her home yacht club, St. Francis, and coaches over the summer at Treasure Island Sailing Center. Isa is majoring in Neuroscience and enjoys drawing, dancing, swimming and spending time with friends.
